Between Thomastown and Epping
Lalor is mainly a residential suburb, sitting between Thomastown to the south and Epping to the north, with Merri Creek and Darebin Creek on either side. Its business life runs along High Street, around the shopping centre between Station Street and May Road, and on Edgars Road and Kingsway Drive: shops, trade businesses and small workshops rather than big distribution centres.
For businesses like these, forklift hire is usually about one machine for one job. Unloading a container of stock. Moving pallets for a shop fit-out. Covering for your own forklift while it’s being repaired. You don’t need a contract or a fleet, just the right forklift for the days you need it.
Lalor borders Epping, where our northern yard is, at 55 Produce Drive. Visits are by appointment only, so call 1300 326 654 first. Damoli is family owned and operated.
What suits smaller sites
We have 150+ Toyota forklifts in the hire fleet, plus reach trucks and scissor lifts:
- Electric forklifts. Quiet, with no exhaust, so they suit work inside shops, storerooms and workshops.
- Gas (LPG) forklifts. For unloading trucks and working outdoors.
- Scissor lifts. For signage, shopfront maintenance and fit-outs at height. Call for rates.
- Reach trucks. If you store pallets in high racking. Call 1300 326 654 for rates.
Not sure what you need? Tell us what you’re moving, how heavy it is and where the forklift will work, and we’ll recommend a machine. See the full hire range.
Short jobs and long stays
Short-term hire suits one-off jobs: a delivery, a fit-out, a stocktake or a few days’ cover.
Long-term hire suits a business that needs a forklift every day but would rather not buy one. Forklift hire starts from $30/day + GST.
